Beyond the Measure is a collection of essays and reflections by Aditya Pawar, MD.
I am a child and adolescent psychiatrist. My clinical and academic interests include autism, neurodevelopment, psychopharmacology, and related areas. This journal creates room to think beyond the usual boundaries of clinical writing: to ask what medicine notices, what it overlooks, and what our language reveals about the lives we value.
The essays are personal and exploratory. They may begin in psychiatry or medicine, but they are meant to remain open to ideas from disability studies, ethics, history, literature, and lived experience.
